SXSW popped off this past weekend with an explosive performance by rappers Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. The duo celebrated the release of their latest project, ColleGrove, at the Samsung Galaxy Life Fest. Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz served as headliners of event. The two performed cuts like “Watch Out” from the ColleGrove album, as well as, their solo music. Lil Wayne’s set consisted of fan favorites like “Lollipop,” “Truffle Butter,” and “A Milli.” Other artists that took the stage were Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Flavor Flav, BJ Novak, Abbi Jackson and Ilana Glazer. 2 Chainz Chuck D and Flavor Flav, of Public Enemy Lil Wayne Samsung also launched the new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge mobile devices. At the SXSW event, Lil Wayne hilariously showed how water-resistant the new S7 is by pouring champagne all over it.
