Last night (Apr. 4), Villanova upset North Carolina 77-74 and became the 2016 NCAA Champions. Former Tarheel Michael Jordan sat in the stands and witnessed the “at-the-buzzer” defeat. He was also in town to see one of his most celebrated peers be honored by the NBA.

Former Philadelphia 76er, Allen Iverson, was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Jordan met up with A.I., after the game, to congratulate him. The moment – between two of the greatest players to ever do it – was captured by a passenger.

Like Jordan, Iverson did the unthinkable during his time in the NBA. The Answer won four scoring titles and was the league’s MVP in 2001. It was his 48-point performance for the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals that handed Shaquille O’Neal’s Los Angeles Lakers their only loss of the most dominant postseason in NBA history.

Iverson is an 11-time All-Star and the only player 6-0 or shorter to average at least 20 points per game. “It’s just a tribute to everybody else behind the scenes who helped me accomplish what I wanted to accomplish,” Iverson said.

Iverson will be enshrined along with O’Neal, Michigan State coach Tom Izzo, former Houston Rocketscenter Yao Ming, former WNBA star Sheryl Swoopes and Chicago Bullsowner Jerry Reinsdorf.

Longtime NBA referee Darrell Garretson, coach John McLendon and former stars Zelmo Beaty and Cumberland Posey will be enshrined posthumously.
