Birdman shut down Charlmagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee’s show this morning. What seemed like a potential sit-down to discuss Birdman’s career, future projects, and clarify details of his ongoing legal battle with Lil Wayne, took a huge left once he entered the room. It is clear that he doesn’t care for The Breakfast Club and their constant disrespect of the legacy he built with Cash Money Records. When Charlamagne tried to man up and ask “Did he pull up on Ross or Trick Daddy?” Birdman quickly stated, “I’m pulling up on you.” As the “radio guy,” Charlamagne is confused as to why the label CEO would confront a media personality – who’s job it is to discuss current events and entertainment drama – and not his rap peers who clearly have stated some foul things about him. This is probably the shortest interview in TBC history. Hopefully, Birdman and the crew and squash the beef move forward positively. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
