The season 2 finale of “black-ish” will premiere tonight with a blast from the past. For the finale, the Johnson family will go back in time to the 1970’s and recreate Black culture classic television show “Good Times.” Dre (played by Anthony Anderson) will drift to sleep while watching the television program, only to find himself and the others starring as the main characters. Dre’s “Good-ish Times” features a classic episode when Thelma announced that she was pregnant by her soon-to-be football star. “Keith, I’m pregnant,” Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross) says as in the dream sequence. “I know you’re scared. Hell, I’m scared to,” Dre says in response. “Baby, I’ve got my big football tryouts coming up and when I do go pro, we’re gonna get married and I’m gonna have enough money to take care of everybody and buy a fancy car. Baby, I’m gonna be an NFL football player, and they don’t ever go broke!” The season 2 finale of “black-ish” airs Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
