Golden State Warrior point guard, Stephen Curry, earned his second Most Valuable Player win on Tuesday (May 10). The panel of 131 judges awarded Curry with his second MVP win, which made him the 11th player in history to take two years in a row.

Curry is the first player ever to win the MVP award by being voted as no. 1 by the judges unanimously.

Other NBA players who made the list were San Antonio Spur’s Kawhi Leonard (2nd place), Cleveland’s LeBron James (3rd place), Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook (4th place) and Kevin Durant (5th place) for starters.

Curry proved himself, however, to be the number one guy for 2015/2016. Due to his skills on the court, Curry led his team to a 73-9 season. This record breaking moment swiftly surpassed the Chicago Bulls’ 72-10 season in 1995-96. Curry’s three-point game is unbeatable. He set a record high of 402 three’s, as well as, led the league in steals, averaging 2.1 per gram. Curry also averaged 30.1 points per game.
