Suge Knight is doing a lot from behind bars. News reports state that Suge Knight has financial beef with Chris Brown and plans to sue the R&B singer for an incident that happened in 2014. The Death Row Records CEO claims that hit-and-run at the Straight Outta Compton movie set is tied to the seven gunshot wounds he sustained while attending a party at 1 Oak, which was hosted by Chris Brown. Shots were fired in the club and Knight suffered injuries to the chest, abdomen, and left arm. He is suing Brown, co-host Pia Mia and the owners of 1 Oak for damages, which include his past and future medical bills. Knight claims that Brown’s alleged gang ties and history of being in violent environments should have warranted 1 Oak to step up their security measures the night of the shooting. As for Straight Outta Compton, Knight was reportedly beat up on set by Cle “Bone” Sloan. The rap mogul says, at that time, he was still recovering from his injuries from 1 Oak and acted in self-defense when he ran over Sloan and two other gentlemen on the set of the N.W.A. flick. According to Knight’s lawyer J. Tooson, “Mr. Knight was still extremely frail from his gunshot injuries less than five months earlier. When the facts are finally revealed in this case, we’re certain it will be apparent that our client was simply trying to flee for his life.” Suge Knight is facing murder charges for running over the men, which resulted in the death of one of them, Terry Carter.
