Fortune is reporting that Tip and Hughes have been named in a lawsuit, which claims the two businessmen violated the Fair Labor Standards Act. According to the lawsuit, Hughes would deposit money from payroll into his personal account, which caused employee paychecks to bounce. The 12 employees named in the suit claims they weren’t paid for overtime and finessed into working off the clock. When the employees confronted Hughes about the shady practices, he ignored them. The 12 employees are suing for backpay.
