Prominent DJ Steve Aoki is premiering the documentary “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” today on Netflix. The crowd-rocking film takes viewers deeper into the passionate journey of the highest-paid electronic dance music (EDM) DJ’s and his rise in popularity. Synopsis: In the lead-up to Aoki’s biggest show of his career, this introspective doc examines the driving force behind his passion: Rocky Aoki, daredevil showman, Benihana founder, and Steve’s looming father figure. The film is directed by Justin Krook and produced by David Gelb (Chef’s Table, Jiro Dreams of Sushi), Matthew Weaver (Rock of Ages), Matt Colon, Happy Walters.
