Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne has launched a new rap contest called the “Tech N9ne’s Warrior Built Emcee Contest.” The contest specializes in showcasing the lyrical skills of military veterans. Monster Cable is co-sponsoring the contest. The winner of the rap contest will win a trip to Kansas City to record a song with Tech N9ne, himself. The song will be sold and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the “Warrior Built” foundation, which assists in building off-road vehicles, race cars, classic cars or motorcycles and displays then at various car and/or racing events. To enter the contest, contestants must submit their best verses over an instrumental of Tech’s latest single, “P.T.S.D.” Deadline for submissions is September 6, 2016.
