Common is executive producing the forthcoming FOX series, “93 ’til Infinity.” The television show focuses on the life of a ’90s rapper as he tries to comprehend today’s mainstream climate, hip-hop, and where he’s going next. He reestablishes a friendship with a friend from middle school, while trying to juggle family and career. Common will produce the series along with directors Thomas Kail (“Hamilton” and “Grease: Live”) and Ian Elderman (“How To Make it in America). No word yet on when the series will air. In the meantime, Common is preparing for the release of his next album Black America Again.
