Odell Beckham Jr.’s on-the-field antics continues to be the focus in the media . On Monday night, the NY Giants wide receiver told ESPN he’s “not having fun anymore.” Beckham’s frustration continues to grow after team loses and field penalties. But, brands are taking a liking to Beckham despite the negative press. Pepsi, for instance, has enlisted Beckham for its #BreakOutThePepsi ad campaign, which will air during the 2016-17 NFL season. Beckham’s installment is called “Checkers” and it illustrates how minor achievements in our lives can have the same feeling as a major win or touchdown to a NFL player. This is the first of two commercial spots featuring Beckham.
