Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and his legal team are vigorously trying to prevent a sex tape from hitting the net. Last week, Von Miller’s lawyers filed a petition in Los Angeles court requesting the ban of the sex partner, Elizabeth Ruiz, from selling, distributing, copying or releasing the sex tape. His lawyer’s argued that distribution of a sex tape would harm the appeal of Miller’s persona to his fans “many different people from virtually all walks of life, including families and children.” According to legal documents obtained by The Smoking Gun, in June, Miller engaged in consensual sexual intercourse with Ruiz during a vacation trip to Cancun, Mexico. Although other friends of Miller were trip, Ruiz and the Super Bowl MVP had sex indoors the Villa Albatros. Ruiz recorded herself having sex with Miller with her phone. Miller’s attorney insists that Ruiz agreed to keep the video recording private, and once the two returned to the U.S., Miller reminded Ruiz that “he did not want anyone to see the recording and asked Ruiz to erase the recording.” In September, Miller signed a six-year, $114.5 million contract with the Broncos. It was then that he was contacted by a L.A. businessman named Kevin Blatt. Ruiz asked Blatt to help her broker a deal to sell the sex tape. Apparently, the model aspired to be the next Kim Kardashian. After the Ruiz’s lawyer Corey Boddie contacted Miller to sell the tape back to him for $2.5 million, the football star’s lawyers told Boddie the Ruiz’s demand was extortion.
