Rick Ross is next up to feel the tyranny of Uncle Sam. TMZ reports that Maybach Music Group CEO, Rick Ross, owes the IRS $5.7 million in unpaid back taxes. The debt was scheduled to be paid back in 2012, 2013 and 2014, but for some reason Ross refuse to. The IRS has since issued a tax lien that could seize the rapper’s assets if he doesn’t pay or work out a payment plan. In 2012, specifically, Ross accumulated $4.6 million in unpaid taxes. Outside of music, Rick Ross has made significant strides in the fast food industry with Wing Stop and now Checker’s Burger franchises. With that income generating, let’s hope the bawse can satisfy this tax debt and put it behind him.
