Approximately 135.9 million American adults spent money this past week for Black Friday. Of the millions, over 57 percent of U.S. adults shopped online and of that, 35 percent used their mobile devices to do so. According to the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the majority of shoppers purchased tech products over the Black Friday week. The total holiday spending – which Cyber Monday sales are pending – could easily reach $36.05 billion. Shoppers are spending big bucks and here are the products they spent it on for Black Friday: 1. Televisions 2. Tablets 3. Smartphones 4. Videogame consoles 5. Tech accessories 6. Laptops 7. Headphones 8. DVD/Blu-Ray Players 9. Portable Bluetooth speakers 10. Digital toys The CTA estimates that more shoppers will continue to buy online. It is projected that total online holiday sales will grow by 16.4 percent to $84.2 billion, while online sales through mobile devices will grow by 45.2 percent to $20.1 billion.
