What a time to be alive for Drake in 2016! The Toronto emcee smash the competition last year with his 4x platinum album, Views. According to Billboard, Views was the highest-selling LP in the U.S. in 2016. Views had the largest Billboard 200 debut after selling 1 million copies its first week out. The album spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the charts and, right now, sits at No. 8. Views was streamed over 3 billion times on Spotify back in November. Drake’s album also was the first project to ever hit 1 billion streams on Apple Music. In addition to the U.S. sales, Views single “One Dance” sold 1.95 million units in the U.K. Views total sales has reached 4.14 million, with 1.61 million as strictly album sales.
