Jeezy is countersuing a Houston-based promoter and is asking for $1 million for hurting his reputation.

Last February, promoter Darryl Austin filed a lawsuit against Jeezy for not performing at a venue he’d already sold a thousand tickets for. Austin claimed that Mr. “Trap or Die” didn’t show up and even ran off with a $30,000 deposit. The promoter sued the rapper for $100,000 for breach of contract and for taking the $30K deposit.

Jeezy’s countersuit states that Austin never paid him nor did he negotiation terms of the contract with someone on his team. The rapper also claims that Austin went as far as to send emails to ticket holders “trashing Jeezy and then posted defamatory statements on social media that were picked up by media outlets.”

In case you missed the Houston performance, Jeezy has announced the dates for his “Trap or Die 3” tour. The tour is scheduled to be in Grand Rapids, Michigan today (March 3). Lil Durk and YFN Lucci are scheduled to perform spot dates.
