The legacy of Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G. was honored Sunday (March 12) by the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets held a “Biggie Night” in lieu of the 20th anniversary of his death. Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace was present at the Barclays Center to pay tribute to her son. She thanked the crowd and the Nets for making this occassion happen. “From the bottom of my heart, I have to remember what my son said in the past: ‘Brooklyn, we did it.’” It was also Ms. Wallace’s first time attending a NBA game. Diddy, Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Ice Cube, and Biggie’s family were all there for the tribute. A banner adorned with a Nets Jersey with Big’s brith year, 72, on front was raised in the stadium during half-time.
