Funny man Jamie Foxx is hyped about a new show that he’s executive producing called “Beat Shazam.” The interactive game show was first announced during an episode of “Empire” back in April. Since then, Foxx has expressed his excitement through various social media posts and revealed that the program’s development was a 3-year long process. The team with the highest score will eventually battle against the Shazam app for a chance to win a million dollar cash prize. “Don’t Forget The Lyrics” creator Jeff Apploff is the creater “Beat Shazam” and will produce the show through his Apploff Entertainment imprint, along with MGM Television/Shazam. Other executive producers will include Mark Burnett (“The Voice”), Rich Riley and Lauren Zalaznick. “Beat Shazam” will premiere on May 25. Check out the preview below:
