JAY-Z is going on tour. The success of 4:44, which was just released a week ago, has prompted the emcee to take his new music on the road. The tour will kick off in Anaheim, CA on October 27 and end on November 20 in Los Angeles. Venue locations has yet to be announced. Considering the mellow dramatic, conscious tone of the album, it will be interesting to see how JAY-Z pulls this off in a large stadium or arena setting. With songs like “The Story of OJ” and “Legacy,” we could easily picture him performing in a smaller, more intimate venue. But, with JAY-Z’s millions of fans, that type of space would be limiting. As for tickets, pre-orders will be available at noon on Tidal.
