One of the three fans that is also suing Usher – for exposure to herpes – held a news conference this morning in New York. Quantasia Sharpton, accompanied by attorney Lisa Bloom, spoke with press about her meeting with Usher two years ago. She stated that she’d went to his concert while celebrating her 19th birthday. It was then that she met Usher backstage. The R&B crooner got her number from his security and called her up later on at the hotel. Although the city and place in which the concert occurred not disposed, Sharpton says it was on her birthday when the two engaged in sexual contact. She says she does not have herpes. “We spoke for a while and then we engaged in sexual contact. He never warned me about any STDs, it was just after my 19th birthday,” Sharpton, 21, said during a press conference at the New York Hilton Midtown. “When I first heard he had herpes I couldn’t believe it…I would have never consented if I had known.” “Usher, if you are negative, please say so. If you are positive, you need to warn your sex partners,” Sharpton said. Bloom identified the other accusers as Jane Doe and John Doe in court papers. One of them do have herpes. The suit will be filed in California, where Bloom says the law requires a person disclose he or she has herpes to a sex partner. RadarOnline reported last month that in 2012 Usher settled a lawsuit with a celebrity stylist to the tune of $1.1 million.
