Just like the IRS, credit card companies come after celebrities who owe them money. American Express is pressuring rapper Iggy Azalea to pay up an outstanding balance of $300,000. The “Fancy” artist is $250,000 over her preset limit and the credit card company is now fighting to get it back. The company is suing the rapper for the unpaid amount and legal fees. Iggy Azalea joins a long list of other celebrities with money issues. In addition to the credit debt, she also were under heat from the IRS over a $600,000 tax bill.
