Influential hip-hop podcaster Reggie Ossé, aka Combat Jack, has passed away after battling colon cancer. He was 48 years old.

Combat Jack’s popular podcast show, The Combat Jack Show, was one of the premier outlets where hip-hop artists and influencers shared light on the ever-evolving genre. Prior to starting the podcast, Combat Jack was a label executive and entertainment lawyer. He represented hip-hop notables like Jay Z, Damon Dash, DJ Clark Kent, Capone-N-Noreaga, Deric “D. Dot” Angelettie, and many others.

Combat was steadfast on providing guidance to young artists as they propelled in the music industry, as well as, continued to hold the history of the genre in high regard.
