Someone has finally beat Microsoft’s Bill Gates as the richest person in the world. And it is, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.

On Monday, Bezos net worth reached &105.1 billion, according to Bloomberg’s billionaire tracker. Also Forbes tracker placed Bezos net worth at $104.4 billion, which gave him the label of world’s richest.

The breakdown of his net worth isn’t so convoluted as one would think. Bezos owns 78.9

million shares of Amazon stock. Amazon shares climbed 1.4% Monday, adding about $1.4 billion to his net worth.

Bezos’ also own shares of the Washington Post and Blue Origin, a private space travel business that intends to take tourists to space.
