Professional boxer Jermall Charlo got robbed this weekend while partying at Jay Z’s 40/40 club in New York. Reports state that at around 3:00 AM a fight started and somehow a Louis Vuitton bag with $40,000 in cash and $115,000 in jewelry was snatched. Charlo, an undefeated middleweight fighter, was having a blast in the club when five women got lucky. The New York Daily News claim that the women were partying near the boxer when, all of a sudden, a fight broke out. On surveillance video retrieved by the NYPD, a friend of the boxer can be seen taking off his shirt and handing the bag to one of the women. The friend then joined in on the fight. “We, of course, have given all footage to the NYPD and have cooperated as we always do for the last 15 years,” Didier Morais a spokesperson for the club told the Daily News. “The bag in question was handed to one of the girls with the Charlo party by a friend of the party host and she walked out of the club with it.” Below are video screenshots of the women police are looking for: It’s sad when you got to keep your eye on your so-called friends.
