Beyonce reportedly purchased a church in the Garden District area of New Orleans. The church cost an estimated $850,000. On May 11, a close friend and trustee to the Knowles family purchased the church through the Noble Jones Trust. According to TMZ, the paperwork was signed by a trustee name Vernell Jackson Keys, who is a close friend of many years to Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles. Notably, the Noble Jones Trust owns at least one other property in New Orleans, which the Orleans Parish Assessor’s Office lists as the mailing address for the Camp Street church. That address is a French Quarter home where Solange, Beyonce and the rest of the family have been spotted enjoying the Krewe of Barkus during Mardi Gras. (via Nola.com) The Camp Street church is 7,500-square-foot and will require a costly renovation no matter what the Knowles family decide to use the property for. Will this be Beyonce, JAY-Z and the kids future residence?? Source: Nola.com
