Grammy award winner, Mary J. Blige has signed on to be a guest judge during the Atlanta auditions for American Idol.


American Idol is set to air its 9th season in January 2010.

Other guest judges include Victoria Beckham (who just wrapped up her Boston auditions, Katy Perry, and several other unannounced celebrities.

But the big news to come is finding out exactly who will replace Paula Abdul. Abdul announced her departure from the show unexpectantly, leaving her counterparts and the shows producers to search for a replacement.

Abdul’s replacement is still unknown at this time.
