Eight-time All-star outfielder Andre Dawson better known as “The Hawk” has finally gotten his spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Being his ninth attempt, Dawson received 15 more votes than the 75% required for election.

During a career that spanned from 1976-1996, he hit 438 homeruns, had a .279 career average with 1,5491 RBIs and 314 steals. Joining Barry Bonds and Willie Mays, Dawson is the third player with at least 400 homeruns and 300 steals.
