NBA All-Star Saturday Night
The NBA All-Star Saturday Night for the most part was quite eventful. The night’s most anticipated event though was not. While this year’s Slam Dunk contestants were quite capable of producing dynamite dunks for some reason they all seem to have held back. Even though each man’s performance didn’t leave the crowd with too much to talk about, history was made by Nate Robinson of the New York Knicks who is the first to become a three-time winner.

Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks, analyst Kenny Smith and Becky Hammon of the San Antonio Silver Stars took home the trophy for winning the Shooting Stars competition.
Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics earned the 3-point shootout crown while Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns rose to the top in the Skills Challenge.
