Even though she’s already had quite a few, Grammy and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson will once again have “One Shining Moment”. Becoming the first woman to do so, Hudson will perform the song which plays at the end of the broadcast of the NCAA men’s basketball championship game each year.

“One Shining Moment” was written by folk singer David Barrett and has been a March Madness ritual since 1987. Late greats such as Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass are some of the tune’s previous performers.
