Soulja Boy just inked a deal that surpasses any other 25-year-old hip-hop artist. On April 30, Soulja Boy shared his excitement on Twitter with the words “$400 million deal confirmed. I still think they low balled me though. I was thinking 2 or 3 billion…” He didn’t reveal much more in terms of who or which company he signed the deal with. Soulja Boy has had success with various business ventures in music publishing and technology since his debut with “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”. He’s sold millions of albums and has double his money selling ringtones. Most recently, he earned writing credits on Beyonce’s latest album, Lemonade, on “Hold Up.” In 2007, Forbes listed Soulja Boy as one of Hip Hop’s Cash Kings with an estimated net worth of $7 million. From being worth 25 million at 25 to being offered 400million and closing out the deal? Just think about where I came from no man seriously!
