After an unlucky turn of events landed Plaxico Burress in the slammer, the wide receiver is ready to make his return to the NFL. Many have wondered whether or not he’d make his way back to the field after serving 20 months in jail for shooting himself in the leg and having a gun in a New York nightclub. Well wonder no more because not only is he coming back, he’s already signed with a team. Shortly after the news hit the streets that the lockout was over, it was announced that Burress had signed a one year deal for approximately $3 million with the New York Jets. Hopefully like Michael Vick, he’ll make the best out of his second chance.
